LaGriffe
LaGriffe
If you follow the knife world in the last few decades this name shall be familiar. World renowned knife maker and martial artist, Maestro Fred Perrin permitted me to collaborate with him and create a knife which was a long time dream, my own version of the famous LaGriffe aka the Claw.
The LaGriffe from Mr. Perrin was the first ring knife i ever carried. I loved the original version i had and carried and used every day mine. I wore the knife in a static cord during my Recce time in the military academy, in the United States Army Infantry School and Airborne School as well as in Afghanistan during operations outside the wire.
The design is centered around an index finger ring which renders the knife hand to be effectively a claw which is super secure and almost impossible to disarm. This knife works great not just for self defense but as an everyday carry utility knife as well with its compact blade and even more compact but comfortable handle.
My unique take on this small EDC/Self Defense knife design is the wide hollow grind blade and multiple blade shapes. I preserved the original handle shape, since that is perfect for all hand size and created the blade shape and grind which i prefer most.
My LaGriffe version has 2 available versions 1 drop point and 1 clip point which are identical in size.
As usual the knives are made in the 4 standard cerakote colors: Armor Black, Magpul Green, Tactical Grey, and Burnt Bronze and all of them comes with a black kydex sheath.
