Shock Trooper ApexUltra Go Mai (Tobias Hangler Steel)

I would like to introduce you a very special knife, brought to you by me.

This knife was originally intended to be the prototype of my recondo 3 model, however i decided at the end to choose another path for the recondo 3 which rendered this a one of a kind unique blade.

This model received the name ShockTrooper and this is truly a combat knife designed for field work as well as fighting if the need arise.

For material i choose a special steel. A custom ordered forged billet from Tobias Hangler, co-developer of ApexUltra Steel. The steel is a 5 layer go-mai, with 62-63 HRC hard ApexUltra Core, Ni carbon diffusion layer and stainless steel on the side.

Blade length is 154mm/6.2 in

Overall length is 273mm 11 in

Thickness is 4.6mm /.180in

Handle is stabilized dyed maple with yellow fiber

Comes with a thick cowhide leather knife sheath with edge protector, belt loop, and secondary retention.
